Mary's Annunciation Dance

The Mary Project is my exploration of the depiction of Mary as she has been portrayed in paintings of the Annunciation. The original art piece which I created for The Mary Project is called Mary’s Annunciation Dance and is a composite work made up of 96 small paintings of Mary (4 x 6 each) which I copied from paintings by famous artists. These small Mary paintings are set in a grid format on a plexiglass support.
